How can you pick your Final Four for next year? Why would UConn be in Canada?

Hey, Lawless!
I was born in TX, lived there during my "formative" years, but then my father got a job transfer to some place up north, called Connecticut. Word was the entire state fits inside the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, so weren't too excited about moving. Some of our first days in CT, as a matter of fact, we were simply amazed that we could have breakfast in MA, lunch in RI, dinner in NY, and return to CT by nightfall... four states in a single day!! Couldn't pull THAT off in TX...
So, I ended up going to UConn and staying here... adoptive home, sort of... my parents (sneaky as they are) retired and returned back to the "Promised Land" of TX, leaving their kids up here!

Nope... I know what you mean when you say "snow"... One of our "several states in one day" trips was starting in CT (obviously), up through MA, along VT border, in to NH to Mt Washington, and then back down again. Four states in one day once again!!!! In TX, when my parents drive up here for the summer (ahhh, retirement must be nice!) it takes them two days of solid driving before they even get out of TX!!!

So, you should defect from Kentucky and claim UCONN as your favorite college sports franchise!!

Pretty good year up here for sports...
UConn wins both collegiate basketball games... BoSox take the Yankees to seven games... a failure by die-hard standards, but a really good year from a casual fan's perspective... Patriots win the Super Bowl...

Umm... ok... Most of Tony Stewart's crew comes from the New England area! He won the championship two years ago!! That counts...
And, umm, WWE has it's Headquarters in CT... and Triple H (is he still champ?) supposedly hails from Greenwich, CT...
