..have anything interesting to say???
Let's see...
spring is here!!! Yippee!!
Too bad it doesn't feel like it yet... though it was in the low 60's here in the D.C. area.
Brooke probably still has snow by her house.
I wonder if she'll still talk to us next fall when she goes to college.

this may not seem interesting to some but here we go our IBM tape server crashed yesterday so all our databases have crashed due to lack of disk space this means that all financial transactions are dead in the water I new it wasn't interesting but after a long 48hrs of working on servers..... cheers

He didn't say it was a financial institution, John, he referred to the finance transactions. Surely every commercial company in a capitalist country makes financial transactions, regardless of what line of business they're in..... Lol

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Well, where computers are concerned anyway. Obviously as an engineer I just have to have the latest gadgets and gizmos... If there's a new jet fighter out with an extra 20lbs of dry thrust, scrap every plane in the air force and replace them with the new one!! Lol...

i was going to be cute and post the dictionary's meaning of the word engineer, but, an engineer must have gotten to it,the word has 15 different links to different uses and meanings as well as derivitives of the word itself....my take of the endless paragraphs is actually pretty short.......an engineer is someone who complictes the simplist tasks.
just kidding Gav ;D ;D

My "take something that works and add more buttons until it doesn't" description? Maybe I should try to get it into the dictionary as the official definition...
