Ah, Bshan... nice to see your posts are making as much sense as ever. Lol
There was only the two of us playing, so I was hosting. We'd finished by the time of your post though. I'm not sure I'd describe her as "maniacal" either... And why was me playing GR such a shock? It has been known, you know. I've played with you as well, actually, if you recall, along with a few others here - Dust, Brooke, and I think no_limits as well.

BF2 is still a blast. I was able to play 2 games last night. First game I got 0 points. I came in toward the end of the round and was a designated target. Second game I got maybe 7 points as a medic. So, 3.5 points per game. I'm going downhill! It is more fun when you have a squad and all are on comms with a decent squadleader. Some people are just awesome in this game. As far as me being awesome, my claim to fame is that I can fly a helicopter sideways, not on purpose, all the way until it crashes into the water or a building. Hmmm. I don't take passengers 'cause they all seem to have issues with me doing that. I dunno.

Spend a bit of time practicing, and you'll soon be flying the choppers (Blackhawks and Cobras) through the open tunnels at the base of Kubra Dam... They're really not that hard, given the time to learn them.
If you averaged 3.5 points per round last night, dare I ask what your best round score is...?

Actually, I've been able to get a jeep through those tunnels without it catching on fire. It's usually much safer to hoof it though. I found a pipe you can hide in until things seem pretty safe, hehe.
Well, sometimes I have seen double digits for score at the end of a game. I don't recall coming out negative, but there have been a few close calls...

Those tunnels are good fun. Me and a friend tried to see if we could drive up one wall, roll over the ceiling and come down the other wall in them (we couldn't btw!). I still like flying the choppers through them the best though - the BH only just fits, so you have to be very careful to line it up right, and although the Cobra is smaller so you have more room, it also flies much faster so you have less time to make the corrections you need to the altitude (since the tunnels are on a slope, not perfectly flat). I love the jeeps in that game. I like racing games, so any time I drive a jeep I always go flat out - my mates like to joke about me taking racing lines through the turns with it, and stepping the back end out on hard cornering. But for all they joke, they usually like to let me drive, cuz speed can get you away from all kinds of trouble (provided you can manage it without crashing, of course - one of them can't, which is why he always lets me drive!). There have been loads of times when I've managed to escape from an oncoming tank without getting us blown to pieces. You struggle to make double figures in your round scores?? Really? What kit and tactics do you use? Guess I'd better not mention my best round score then.......

Tactics? Stay alive and see if you can spot who's shooting at you sounds like a good place to start.
I usually take medic and try to get a few healing points. Carrying ammo is ok too.
I discovered early in the game that using the anti-aircraft missiles isn't a good idea as I was shooting more friendlies chasing bad guys and getting punishes for a teamkill. After a few kick votes I figured out what was going on there.
Anti-tank weapons rarely work as it takes at least 2 shots to get a tank.
I recall my first use of anti-tank mines. I took out a friendly and got a bunch of negative points for that too. I think they patched that feature though by then it was too late.
Soo, anyone want to play?
