and it was just soooo easy when i was a kid......all i had to do was not do drugs, not drink, stay away from the bad kids.....as alway's and through history, it is our own personel choices that make or break us as adults...........and by the way, for those who complain about insurence rates.....my first car was 4 years old....cost $400.00, my insurence for one year was also $400.00.....taking inflation into account...a four year old car these days runs approx. $15.000.00, insurence is about $5.000.00............. just my two cents

Lol...
I tried shopping around for an insurance quote for my car just for a laugh a few months ago - for those that don't know, I drive a company car, on corporate insurance (just before you go thinking I'm odd for not having insurance already!). Since my car is quite a quick one, and young guys aren't exactly the favoured customers of insurance companies, it turned out rather expensive. Like £2000 (approx $3800 USD). This despite having a totally clean license (no, I don't understand how either!) for eight years and no previous insurance claims...
It all makes me glad that I don't have to pay for anything like that... In fact, I was also glad of that fact the other week, when I got two new front tyres - at the bargain price of £195 ($370 USD) each...

It works out as $1.90 to £1. Not too far off. I think you've been sat at around 1.8 - 1.9 for the last few months now...
EDIT: I just checked todays exchange rate, and it's quoted as $1.91876 to £1.....

British keyboards (and I thought American keyboards as well...?) have "the L thingy" as a shift function on the 3. The 4 is that funny S thingy that only puny currencies use....... I mean come on, who in their right mind would use an S symbol for money?? Other than America of course. Oh, and Canada. And Australia. And New Zealand. But apart from them....?
;D

Yeah, when we lived in Germany my parents used to have UK and German keyboards set up on their system... That's wierd. They don't just have the symbols in different places, they swap the letters around too!!

a little humor
Bill Gates picks his own punishment
Bill Gates picks his own punishment Satan greets him: "Welcome Mr. Gates, we've been waiting for you. This will be your home for all eternity. You've been selfish, greedy and a big liar all your life. Now, since you've got me in a good mood, I'll be generous and give you a choice of three places in which you'll be locked up forever.
Satan takes Bill to a huge lake of fire in which millions of poor souls are tormented and tortured. He then takes him to a massive coliseum where thousands of people are chased about and devoured by starving lions. Finally, he takes Bill to a tiny room in which there is a bottle of the finest wine sitting on a table. To Bill's delight, he sees a PC in the corner. Without hesitation, Bill says "I'll take this option."
"Fine," says Satan, allowing Bill to enter the room. Satan locks the room after Bill.
As he turns around, he bumps into Lucifer. "That was Bill Gates!" cried Lucifer. "Why did you give him the best place of all!"
"That's what everyone thinks" snickered Satan.
"The bottle has a hole in it!"
"What about the PC?"
"It's got Windows 95!" laughed Satan.
"And it's missing three keys,"
"Which three?"
"Control, Alt and Delete."
